Greetings to you all

A delightful welcome for friends and guests in Cafe Liberty brings us together in the half hour prior to Worship at 10:15 AM. We would love for you to join us.
You’re among friends; and we love meeting your friends, neighbors and loved ones as well!
In these busy and beautiful weeks of Fall, pray for outreaches that touch so many lives for the glory of God.

In addition to our special Stars and Stripes Sunday on October 13th, I want to share three events clustered in the prior weekend that can open doors for conversations about the Lord and His powerful redeeming love!
  1. On Saturday, October 5th , the Carroll County Men’s Breakfast is held at the Pleasant Valley Fire Hall, with special guest Coach Matt Tyner, Towson University’s Head Baseball Coach. For more information and tickets for the Breakfast @ 7:30 AM, see the Carroll Christian Men website.
  2. Alpha Pregnancy Center Banquet on Saturday October 5th beginning with Silent Auction at 5:00 PM and dinner following @ Grace Bible Church of Manchester. The date to obtain free tickets has passed, but whether you’re attending or not, we ask your prayers for Director Bev Derossier, staff and volunteers in the vital work they do. Alpha offers Christ-centered care to women facing any type of crisis in regard to pregnancy, childbirth or motherhood. Saving babies’ lives and providing care, sonograms, nurture and practical support for expectant moms is a mission that Alpha volunteers and staff pursue with compassion and excellence. The annual banquet is a key to meeting their budget needs. If you are unable to attend the banquet in-person, feel free to contribute directly via their website.
  3. Carroll County’s “Life-Chain of Prayer” on October 6th in the afternoon at two locations. Praying pro-life friends meet together in this event. Newcomers are welcome. This carefully planned shared public event gives a clear, compassionate and challenging witness for the sanctity of life. Here’s an Invitation and contact info from Co-Directors, Vincent Perticone and Maria DeCesare:

Stars and Stripes Sunday

~ October 13, 2024 ~
Cafe Liberty @ 9:45 & Worship @ 10:15
Join us in welcoming Brigadier General E. John Teichert, former Commander of Joint-base Andrews here in Maryland and Edwards AFB (Mojave Desert, California).
General Teichert’s passion for a biblical worldview stirs Christians in the USA to active engagement in prayer and principled advocacy for the cause of liberty.
As a champion of innovative thinking in military strategy, General Teichert’s tenure at Edwards AFB launched a new era in strategic planning at the base he calls “The Center of the Aerospace Testing Universe”.
Known for fiercely breaking barriers, his nickname “Dragon” continues to apply to his work of calling forth new leaders across America to serve with courage in these perilous times.
Be thinking of a veteran and his or her family you can invite to join us for this special day! Pick up a handful of our Stars and Stripes Sunday Invitation cards on the Connections Table.
Everyone is welcome. Questions? Call or text me at 410.596.4096 or reply to this email anytime.
