Greetings to you all

What a great way to begin the Thanksgiving season!
The Gratitude Dinner event last evening was a fun time for families and friends, enjoying fellowship and a delicious meal together.
There’s so much to celebrate that we all know in our hearts, but often in the fast pace of life, we breeze by the blessings.
One thing I love about Thanksgiving is the bright bold reminder it gives us all is to put our gratitude for God’s abundant blessings into words. Actively giving thanks is a “power tool” in the workshop of every believer. We can reach for the thankful tool even when we’re surrounded by difficulties. To find a way to simply stop in the midst of a busy day to actually thank God for a specific gift, person or discovery in life is a powerful path to a positive perspective.
It’s also a reminder of the simple pleasures of life. As Marcie once explained to an inquisitive Charlie Brown: “We should just be thankful for being together! I think that’s what they mean by Thanksgiving,”
Togetherness is indeed one of the many treasures we celebrate. God’s grace runs deeply into all the areas of need in the hearts of people everywhere. From a thankful heart, with thankful friends, in a truly thankful church we can invest this treasure wherever we go.
