What a delightful celebration of Jesus’ birthday we shared last Sunday! Thanks to all those who shared in preparations and ministry through song, great food, fellowship and togetherness for families and guests.

May these days of Christmas bring each heart and home the joy of knowing God’s unfailing love.

When reflecting on the glory of the Incarnation, John wrote:

How clearly the good news of Jesus’ birth brings us powerful proof of God’s lavish love. For every mom in the world, the model of Mary’s wholehearted dedication in tough circumstances is powerful. In humble surroundings, so mundane and inadequate in human terms, Mary gave her all to the nurture and care of the little one who was none other than our Ruling Shepherd and King.

It’s so awesome just to think that, of all the routes God may have chosen to make the Messiah’s mission unmistakable, it was through pregnancy, birth and infancy that He introduced His Savior to this planet. Giving birth and blessing little boys and girls with the brightest and best of nurture was elevated by the experience of the Savior Himself!

As the Nativity of Jesus has stirred the hearts of worshipers, artists, painters and musicians for centuries, it stands forever as the proof of how individually God places eternal value on every little life. In light of our shared mission to bring the Savior’s love to every arena of life, vocation, family and community, we rejoice that Jesus not only showed us the way but that He is truly “the way, the truth and the life!”

Join us for Cafe Liberty in the half hour prior to 10:15 AM worship tomorrow.  Our Candlelight service on Monday, December 23rd at 6:30 PM. 

Along with special music and worship, our offering received in the Candlelight service will be dedicated to two pregnancy care centers: the Pregnancy Support Center in Westminster and Alpha of Reisterstown. We’re sharing this opportunity to financially support the cause of saving little ones through the excellent staff, volunteers and medical professionals who co-labor with PSC (Westminster) and/or with Alpha (Reisterstown) to save babies and support moms.

We’re so grateful for all whose tithes and offerings support all aspects of the ministry, facilities expenses, church family life and outreach for your church. Tithes and offerings via the lockbox on the Connections Table are deeply appreciated, including before or after the Candlelight service.

In addition, on Monday evening, the special offering we’ll receive during the service will be designated to support all the pro-life care, support and assistance that PSC and Alpha provide for little ones and their moms and families.
