Greetings friends
Baby news is always the BEST of all blessings! What a joy it is today to celebrate the arrival of new little baby in our congregation. We give thanks for God’s priceless gift to the family. We pray abundant blessing upon them as a family.
It’s seemed a slow start to springtime so I’m especially glad we get some warmer temperatures over the next few days.
I often think of this first week after Easter as an ideal time to think of all the blessings God gives us on the sunny side of the Empty Tomb! As we enjoy testimonies today at the Christian Farmers Outreach luncheon, we’re reminded of a truth every follower of Jesus can count on: You have a testimony!
Your walk with God is a daily path that brings insights, energy and influence as you cope with challenges and grow in His grace.
Our bright bold opportunities to see Christ’s Kingdom touch the lives of others are around us, literally, every day.
We’re often not aware of how deeply others need to hear of the unfailing love of our risen Savior. We perceive, correctly, that many people are not open to conversations about God. But as we walk with the Lord, depending on the Holy Spirit to guide us, He often surprises us with openings for rich, meaningful conversation that brings His good news to those who are hurting.
Staying “in tune” and “in step” with the Holy Spirit is one of the rich rewards of being among friends who are seeking the same. It’s one of the reasons we cherish the calling to “come into His courts” together as Psalm 96:8 describes the experience of congregational worship.
So indeed, in this springtime of 2024, we can lift our voices expectantly in praise to “say among the nations, ‘The Lord reigns.'” (Psalm 96:10)
